Webasto expansion tanks capture the thermal expansion in the heating loop, preventing excessive pressure when the water heats up and expands.
The expansion tank is mounted on the wall/bulkhead as part of the heating loop, and can be used on both Webasto and JP water heaters. It is designed for use in loops that go to the hot water tank, cabin heating and the like. The tank should not be used in engine loops.
