XILICON can be used for the assembly of pipes and sleeves, as well as the maintenance and protection of electrical components, battery terminals, rubber profiles, hinges, locks, etc. against moisture and oxidation. It provides effective surface protection on metal, rubber, wood, leather, plastic, varnished and painted surfaces, textiles, vinyl, etc., and makes rubber and leather soft and supple, as well as wind and weather resistant.
It reduces mechanical wear, prevents noise and sticking, is dust, dirt, water and moisture repellent, and is temperature resistant from -70 °C to +280 °C and pressure resistant up to 1400 kg/cm². It does not conduct electricity or heat, is odorless, does not stain and is not flammable. It does not melt, does not freeze, does not harden, does not evaporate, does not turn sour and is also non-toxic.
