Soromap AF2 Racing is a copper-based antifouling with very good self-polishing properties. In addition to large amounts of copper, AF2 contains Teflon. This creates an incredibly smooth film that prevents fouling and ensures that the boat glides as easily in the water as possible.
AF2 Racing's very low friction against the water has made the antifouling very popular among sailboaters, and especially for those participating in regattas.
The antifouling can be applied by brush, roller or spray. Be sure to stir well before use, and occasionally during the process. 2 coats are recommended with approximately 3 hours between each coat. The boat can be launched 4 hours after application (at 20° C), but for best results we recommend waiting 24 hours before launching.
AF2 Racing can be applied directly on top of cleaned International® VC17.
