Ronstan's extension arm has many unique features for fast, precise trimming and locking. The angle of the aluminum arm can be adjusted for the best possible control. The extension lock and extension runner can be mounted upside down if one prefers to release with a downward movement. Two rows of ball bearings support the arm, and stops limit rotation to 260°. If desired, the stops can be removed for 360° rotation. An innovative ticking system in the base can be used to provide resistance to rotation, but can also be unscrewed for free rotation. This feature is especially useful in preventing the extension arm from falling into the wind. The swivel and spring are adapted to Ronstan Orbit Ball Bearing and Ratchet blocks.
