Sikaflex-521 UV is a weatherproof, 1-component, silane-terminated polymer (STP) sealant that cures on contact with atmospheric moisture. This universal product is suitable for both indoor and outdoor joint sealing.
Sikaflex-521 UV adheres well to a wide range of substrates and is suitable for elastic jointing and bonding. Suitable substrates are wood, metals, metal primers and varnishes and paint layers (2-component systems), ceramics and plastics. Seek the manufacturer’s advice and carry out tests on the relevant substrate before using Sikaflex®-521 UV on materials subject to chemical stress cracking. This product is only suitable for experienced professional users. Tests with the relevant substrates and conditions must be carried out to ensure adhesion and material compatibility.
