Seajet 038 Taisho is a copper-free self-polishing antifouling that lasts up to 2 seasons. It is suitable for boats that make up to 40 knots and can be used on all hull types, including aluminum.
Instead of copper, 038 Taisho contains the substance Econea®. Econea® is a 100% organic substance, which is biodegradable in water. This provides very effective protection, and makes 038 Saiko more environmentally friendly than copper-based antifoulants.
038 Taisho is almost the same as 040 Shosha, but also contains zinc pyrithione. It therefore provides even better protection against fouling, and can last up to 2 seasons. Due to the zinc pyrithione content, 038 Taisho is only intended for professional users.
- Hull types: All types
- Waters: Saltwater and freshwater
- Coverage: 10 m² per liter
- Lasts up to 2 seasons (with 3 coats of roller)
- Recommended primer: Seajet 015 Underwater Primer or Seajet 117 Multipurpose Epoxy Primer
- When using thinner, Seajet Thinner A is recommended (normally not thinned)
- Does not contain diisocyanates
- The boat should be launched within 6 months of application
- Choosing a selection results in a full page refresh.
