Riviera Zenith BZ1 is a compass designed for mounting in horizontal panels. The compass has 12V illumination and a built-in compensator.

The compass rose comes in both top-reading and front-reading versions. On the top-reading (flat) version, you read the direction of the compass from above. On the front-reading (conical) version, you read the direction of the compass from the front. The top-reading rose is therefore recommended for locations where you will mainly look down at the compass. The front-reading rose is recommended for locations where you look forward towards the compass.
