The Quick ESC battery isolator has 2 or 3 independent outputs for charging 2 or 3 battery banks. When charging, the charging separator will function in the same way as a battery charger with multiple outputs. It will ensure that all banks are charged independently of each other. If the condition of the different banks is not the same, this will not affect the charging. When there is no charging, the charging separator will ensure that no current leaks between the connected battery banks. If the banks are not isolated from each other, none of the batteries will achieve a higher voltage than the worst battery. A bad cell on one of the batteries is enough to ensure that none gets more voltage than this cell. In this way, you are always assured of having power on, for example, the starter battery.
The ECS is equipped with MOS-FET technology to avoid voltage loss and is protected against reversed polarity.
