The Quick BTQ 185-85 DP 24V is a 24-volt bow thruster with 85 kg thrust, designed for 185 mm tunnels. It is an excellent choice for boats up to approximately 26 to 39 feet.
This is the DP variant that has dual, counter-rotating propellers. With counter-rotating propellers you get optimal water flow, and maximum efficiency. You also get identical characteristics regardless of whether you steer to port or starboard.
Quick BTQ bow thrusters are virtually maintenance-free. All you need to do is replace the aluminum anode when needed. The bronze gear housing is extremely durable, and has seals that retain lubrication throughout the life of the system. So you never need to lubricate or change the oil.
