Owatrol Deck Oil D2 high gloss

Deks Oil D2 is a varnish-like, tough, flexible and durable finish that enhances the natural beauty of the wood. The more coats of DEKS OIL D2 applied, the higher the gloss finish. To achieve the high gloss finish, you must oil 6 coats at 12-24 hour intervals.



Unlike traditional varnish, Deks oil D2 will not crack or blister. Once you have primed with Deks oil D1 and topcoated with Deks oil D2, water will not penetrate and enter the wood, provided you do regular maintenance. Use fine-grained wet sandpaper dipped in Deks oil D1 between the last two coats to smooth out any unevenness, and avoid sanding between coats.


Suitable for wooden boats above the waterline, thoroughly impregnated with Deck Oil D1. Used externally and internally on hulls and decks.



D2 is easy to maintain. Simply oil worn areas with a couple of new coats on a cleaned surface. Clean bare wood with Deck Cleaner, oil with D1 and apply new top coats with D2.
