Owatrol Deck Oil D1 matt

Deeply penetrating wood oil that saturates and impregnates the wood by replacing the oils the wood has lost and at the same time makes it highly resistant to water penetration, moisture and rot. D1 expels moisture and air, penetrates deep into the pores, enriches and stabilizes the wood and provides long-lasting protection for both indoor and outdoor wood.


Deck Oil D1 is a transparent oil that does not form a film (skin). It highlights the natural beauty of the wood, while being easy to maintain, without having to strip or sand. It is especially suitable for wooden boats made of pine, Oregon pine, oak, mahogany, teak and oily and difficult to impregnate wood species (hardwood).


Deck Oil D1 does not have a UV filter. Areas exposed to strong sun and weather should either be topcoated with the penetrating oils Deck Sealer or Teak Oil (both give a matte finish) or one of the high-gloss Deck Oil D2 or Edelolje.

- Gives a silky matte, natural result. Don't wipe away oil that doesn't absorb!

- Does not form a film/skin - will not flake or crack.

- Easy maintenance - do not remove or sand. Worn areas should be cleaned with Deck Cleaner and oiled with D1.

- Apply above and below the waterline.

- Use as a primer before the high-gloss finish that Deks oil D2 and Owatrol Edelolje provide.

- Also used on garden furniture, doors, window frames, fences, stairs, decks, hatches.

- Interior – floors, panels, doors, windows, stairs.

- Excellent primer for conventional one-component marine and decorative paints.
