CIP stands for Corrosion Inhibitor Primer, and is a professional product for extremely demanding environments. CIP penetrates well into pores and irregularities in the metal, and leaves a rust-colored adhesive primer, which can withstand overpainting/lacquering with both 1- and 2-component products. CIP resists heat up to 175 degrees. It can be used on both new metal surfaces and surfaces with rust. The result is a protective surface with good adhesion.
The primer is applied by roller, brush or spray and should only be used in temperatures above 5 °C. The tools can be cleaned with White-Spirit
