The safeSEA S100 SART is designed to assist in the rescue and location of liferafts and survival craft. Once switched on, the SART remains in standby mode until automatically activated by an X-band radar sweep from a nearby vessel. The safeSEA S100 then emits a series of pulses that appear on the ship's radar as a line of dots, providing a bearing to the survival craft.
