OceanSignal RescueMe MOB2 is an AIS transmitter that attaches to your life jacket and sends your position if you should fall overboard. When the MOB2 is activated, the first distress signal will be sent within 15 seconds. The MOB2 communicates with the vessel you have been separated from and other vessels up to 8 km away. The integrated GPS ensures that your exact position is sent to the vessel you have been separated from and others who can help. A strobe light is also activated to ensure that you are visible even if the accident should happen at night.
OceanSignal RescueMe MOB2 is a further development of MOB1. MOB2 is made according to class M, and has integrated Tx and Rx DSC transceiver. It can also be connected to a smartphone via NFC, which allows you to check battery life, self-test status and other things.
The MOB2 is compatible with Spinlock Deck Vests, and a wide range of other life jackets on the market. It has a full 5-year battery life.
