The Ocean Signal rescueME EPIRB3 is a modern and compact emergency locator transmitter with a unique set of features, designed for increased safety at sea. In addition to GPS and global 406 MHz satellite communication via Cospas-Sarsat, the device is equipped with AIS (Automatic Identification System) and RLS (Return Link Service).
The AIS signals enable nearby vessels to receive your position directly, increasing the chances of rapid assistance. The RLS function provides visual confirmation to the user that the distress signal has been received by the rescue services – an important safety factor in critical situations.
Designed for both manual and automatic activation (using the included bracket), the EPIRB3 is equally suitable for recreational and commercial vessels. It has a 10-year battery life and a minimum of 48 hours of operation after activation.
