Many of today's cabin cruisers have outboard motors, and with an outboard motor you have limited options for heating the water in the hot water tank. With this diesel-powered water heater you get fast and efficient heating of the hot water, without being connected to either the engine or shore power.
The water heater burns diesel, and must also be connected to 12V power. It takes up little space, is easy to install, and provides an output of 1.5 to 5 kW depending on the setting. The system heats the water in the loop up to 86 °C. Everything is controlled via a digital control panel with LCD screen.
The water heater also has more uses than just heating the hot water tank. It can be used to provide heat to the cabin, as well as preheating inboard engines. With a water heater you get a practical solution, which can be set up in many different ways. Since the heater does not have a fan, it is quieter than air heaters.
The package includes a water pump, a number of pipes, hose clamps and mounting hardware. An exhaust feedthrough (e.g. 1041696) must be purchased separately.
