empaspeed TF is a hard, biocide-free, high-performance thin-film paint. It minimizes fouling and drag in the water, and makes cleaning the boat easy. It works great on fiberglass, steel and aluminum boats.
The new technology in empaspeed TF combines the best of traditional, tough thin film coatings with empel's hydrogel fouling release technology. It has all the properties of a robust, hard antifouling, with an ultra-smooth finish, and is suitable for use in all waters (both salt and fresh water, lakes and rivers).
If you want to apply empaspeed on top of a self-polishing antifouling, simply apply a coat of empa Conversion Primer before painting on two coats of empaspeed.
