Hempel Barnacle Remover is an acidic product used to dissolve barnacles so they can be easily removed. The product works by a combination of chemical and mechanical treatment. It is used where barnacles usually stick, for example on outboard motors, propellers and under boats.
Shake well before use. Apply the product directly and evenly to the remaining scales and leave for approximately 3-5 minutes. Apply more product (especially in vertical areas) at intervals of approximately one minute to ensure that the remaining scales are always in contact with the product and gradually dissolve. Remove scales with high pressure washing and/or gentle scraping. Repeat if necessary. Finally rinse with fresh water.
