The solar charger allows you to charge the engine battery from the solar panel. The solar panel connects directly to the battery, which in turn connects to the solar panel. It also comes with a 12V cigarette lighter cable, which allows you to charge the engine battery in the boat or car.
The charger is compatible with the Spirit 1.0 battery. It does not fit the Spirit 1.0 Plus and Evo. MC4 connectors to the solar panel make connection easy.
