Epifanes Mahogany Stain dries quickly and has good impregnating properties. It is specially formulated for use on mahogany, giving the wood a warm color. The stain is based on linseed oil and alkyd.
Mahogany Stain can be used over waterline both externally and internally. Up to 3 coats can be applied to bare wood, depending on how much of an effect you want to give the wood.
In addition to being used alone, it can also be used as a color additive (max. 10%) in Epifanes one- and two-component varnishes. This gives the varnish a slightly darker finish, which more easily camouflages color differences in the wood.
