Vantage Pro2 measures:

The outdoor unit is powered by an integrated solar panel, and together with a backup battery, they are self-sufficient in power. The sensors deliver data wirelessly to the Weather Link Console info display. Setup and connection are therefore very simple.
Vantage Pro2 comes in two versions, with and without a fan. The version with a fan sends an air flow around the temperature sensor 24 hours a day, which ensures even more consistent temperature measurements. The sensor units (outdoor units) are mounted on a rod with approximately 33 mm in diameter. This is not included. We therefore recommend purchasing with a mounting tube (prod. no. 2346238) or 3-foot mount (prod. no. 2346219). It should not be mounted on a boat, or in places where it may be exposed to sea spray.
