The Cobra MR HH500 FLT BT EU is an advanced handheld VHF, which is both floating and waterproof. In addition to the usual VHF functions, the HH500 has Bluetooth, which allows it to be paired with a mobile phone. This means you can leave your mobile phone safe and dry, and take mobile calls via the VHF unit.
Cobra's "Rewind-Say-Again®" feature saves the last 20 seconds of conversations. If you didn't catch what was said, you can easily replay the last message. The display is backlit, and works well even at night. The VHF has a noise-canceling microphone, which removes much of the background noise, significantly improving the sound quality.
The HH500 supports all international channels, and NOAA weather forecasts. It can transmit at 1, 3 and 6 watts. With Cobra's Tri-Watch system, in addition to channel 16, you can monitor two other channels simultaneously.
